Casa Grande - Desert Shadows

We arrived in Casa Grande in plenty of time to set up the outdoor chairs and pretend it was warm enough to sit outside. It was very sunny and a sweater or blanket was all you needed to soak up some rays.

We had time to do a craft with the kids who have been very patient with all the traveling and moving around. Playdough is always a good thing.

Amanda made a wonderful dinner of sloppy joes while the men set up the sound system. (No one could help her because the kitchen is too small!!)

The audience at the Desert Shadows was wonderful. They were enthusiastic and loved the music. It was a great boost to the week.

In our introduction I mention how much of a people person Dani is and that at one time she had over 25 penpals. I tell them that she always use to ask for stamps for birthdays. Anyway, after the show, one of the women came up to Dani and gave her an envelope of stamps!

One man shared several of his Gospel CDs with us. And there is nothing like singing God Bless America with a whole roomful of people that are standing up and giving their thanks to God and those who have served the country.

Today we have the blessing of singing at Goldfield Ghost Town with multiple other Gospel groups. We are looking forward to the day.

And today, my little girl turns 18!
