We spent a good part of this morning getting our things packed up and preparing the trailer to move to our next destination: right across the street. We managed to make it out before the 12:00 sign-out deadline, and we quickly set up in our new camping spot.
We had our third gig tonight in the main building of our hosting RV park. We were supposed to play after the community dinner that the park puts on once a month. As part of the deal, we all got to share the meal with the rest of the residents, and what a meal, all the spaghetti and sauce you could eat, garlic bread, and plenty of salad for everyone.
The show itself went quite well. The only casualty was a broken guitar string, quickly remedied by a guitar swap. The residents were very lively and quite vocal in their appreciation. It was wonderful to see the joy and gratitude that their faces expressed.
We have another performance coming up tomorrow playing at our aunt's retirement center. More updates on that coming soon...
