I just thought I'd add some pictures on our blog, since we are not doing too well at updating every thing! :( :) The first picture is us (not too dressed up or combed! :) at Grandpa and Grandma's, just practicing
The second is a family photo of us in one of our matching outfits on Grandpa and Grandma's patio out back
The third is us singing at our first performance which was a huge blessing and went REALLY well! PTL!!
Fourth is a cute little picture of Leah holding Peanut at our trailer table. :)
This fifth picture, Leah and I were outside in the cold windy rain... a yucky day. :( But we're still smiling and enjoying Arizona!
And my Dear Sweet Hannah... a picture of her I took the same cold day!
Thank you all for your prayers. I'd like one of the others to update the blog some, but in short, the shows we've done have been smooth and a blessing. My prayers is that we are a light to the world and can make a difference in the world with the words of the songs we sing for the LORD. This has been a great learning experiance for us all, teaching us to work together, smile even when it's hard, and shine for Jesus. There are a lot of things that go into a little trip like this, and it's been a blessing to work through those things.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures. May the LORD bless you all.
In Christ,
~Dani

1st Show Completed
We played at the Desert Valley RV Resort in Eloy on Monday night and it was a huge blessing for us. We hope it was for those who attended. It was such a warm crowd and they were very encouraging to us. They seemed to really appreciate the music and being around children that remind them of their grandkids. Thanks for praying and please keep it up!

We have been enjoying the warm weather, and Dad and the 4 youngest got to go swimming a couple days ago- that was the highlight of the childrens' day!
Our Grandma arranged for us to play for church yesterday, so that was our first time playing in front of 400+ people! We played and sang 2 songs right before service. Then, in the evening, we played for some couples a few of our songs, which was fun!
Tonight is our first REAL performance! We are playing through the whole "show" (which is a little over an hour) at an RV park, after a potluck (none of us will be eating much! :). So, please keep us in your prayers as we play and sing tonight, and that we will be a blessing and light for Christ as we play for others.
Blessings,
Amanda

The LORD is Good
Thank you all for your prayers as we start this journey in Arizona. Since we've been here for 4 days now, we've had a lot of time to relax, spend time with our grandparents who live down here during the winter months, and practice our music more. :) Our first show is next Monday, so we are trying to prepare completely for that. We are thankful to God that things are going so smoothly, that we didn't have any troubles getting down here, and I am looking forward to the family time we have together to grow relationships and stretch us together. I think it will be great, and a wonderful way to build character.
We don't have many new pictures down loaded yet, but hopefully we will get more on soon.
The weather is beautiful down here, lots of wind, but sunny and warm. We are thankful to not be stuck in a snow strom as we might be at home. :)
Thank you again for all the prayers and support. We will keep the blog up to date as the internet allows (our connections have not been the best) and as time goes on. We love you all.

Almost to Tucson
We are, Lord willing, on our last day of travel for a couple weeks. We have been very thankful for wonderful weather and safe travel the last three days. The first day, we went through Washington, Oregon and Idaho, and stopped at the Boise Meridian RV Resort, where we all enjoyed a good night's sleep. On the second day, we went from Meridian, through Boise down through Salt Lake City, and to Cedar City in Utah. We had planned to stay in Salt Lake City, but we got there a lot earlier than we had planned, and there was lots of traffic, so we drove to Cedar City, and arrived there around 9:30 p.m. That was about 12 hours of driving, with only a few brief stops. Being in the car is fun- we have lots of time to read, knit, cross-stitch, etc. (Dani, Emily and I :) And yesterday, we went from Utah to Nevada to California and into Quartzsite, Arizona. All our meals up until last night were oatmeal, toast, sandwiches, dry soup, etc. Dad took us out last night for dinner! We are leaving Holiday Palms RV this morning, and we are all happy about that. :) The spot they gave us is close to the road, and lots of cars go by and people are walking on the road, so it's not especially comfortable. Peanut, our Bichon Frise, has been traveling with us in the car, and has been wonderful! She usually gets car sick when we travel for about an hour, but she has not gotten sick at all! We are very thankful for that! Our destination today is Tucson, where we will be only about 10 minutes away from where our grandparents are staying. Thank you all for your prayers for our family-please continue to pray for us!
P.S. Sorry about where the pictures are- I can't get them to move to where I want them! :) These were taken by Emily, along the trip.
