On our way home!

Yesterday, mom and Leah set out for home. We acquired an airplane ticket for them both, and they got an easy trip home. It was uneventful, and everything went very smoothly! We praise the Lord for that!

This morning, we got ready to leave for home! Last night, and the night before, we were busy packing up the van, and stuffing it full with stuff! We packed the van so much that the entire back seat is filled, and stuff is piled up to the ceiling!

So this morning, Dad and Greg dropped off our trailer at a storage place, and the rest of us got the children ready for the day trip. We left at 9:00, and traveled (with a record of just 3 rest stops on the way!) for 7 1/2 hours. We occupied ourselves by sleeping, reading, or passing the time by just looking out the window.

So now: "Day 1 is under the belt and in the books!" ~Quote from Dad Hahner~ :)

We are looking forward to getting some dinner in our bellies, and a good nights rest so we are ready for tomorrow's journey! We are looking forward to being home soon! But we are rejoicing in the Lord that everything has gone smoothly, and we continue to pray for a safe trip home!

Thank you all for praying for us - we appreciate it a lot.

Last Performance

Tomorrow will be the last performance in Tucson. We will be at the Atria Valley Retirement facility at 2:30. It will be a small group, but we are looking forward to sharing some music and the joy of the Lord with the residents.

Then we head home on Monday. It should take 4-5 days. We would appreciate your prayers for travel mercies and patience for the long hours on the road.

It will be good to get home for many reasons. We will appreciate so many things like our own bathrooms, a kitchen we can move around in, internet that works, and most of all being back to our family and friends.

Bless you!

Hello,

Sorry we have not updated in awhile...

Our performance in Quartszite went fine. We drove 4 hours to get there, and 15 people showed up! But, we hope we were a blessing to those 15 that came.

Yesterday, we played at Mom's Aunt Ruth's retirement center, and the people there really enjoyed it. We enjoyed a time of visiting with Aunt Ruth and her daughter-in-law and her mother for about an hour. It was a miracle that we were able to make it there yesterday! This last weekend, Samuel came down with the stomach flu, and 5 others caught it, and were not doing well till Wednesday morning. We are all still recovering, so would appreciate your prayers!

Our next performance is Saturday night at Mission View in Tucson, so please keep us in your prayers for that!
